the purple is OK in and of itself, but for a recording of Keith playing in the Rothko Chapel, it's ridiculous (just going from that image, I have not yet seen the actual release). I would have loved to have seen what Keith would have painted if he had been asked, which presumably he was not.

that Christian Wolff is due in Sept, pretty excited about that. I hope I can get copies for the Wolff/Rowe show here on 9/4, I need to talk to the label about that.

well, not a fan of the typeface, but Keith has a specific color palette he's used his entire career, and that light purple isn't part of it, plus it has no connection to the Rothko Chapel.

(of course I haven't talked to Keith about that design, he might love it, but my educated guess is that if you pushed him, he would say that the cover design is pretty inappropriate.)
