Slimm still hasn't gotten the collab reissued. Mentioned it not too long ago, though. I'll still be putting out their self titled EP as a 12". With new tracks, hopefully.

we're looking at March-April on the jean polise goslings collab thing working on a package format now and its mostly recording from what i understand and will be a double.. they also have a new CD on not not fun out in the not to distant future as its all done..

i was at a gig last week and they played Grandeur over the PA between bands.. bad ass indeed

of course, i couldn't wait for it from the moment i heard it existed, but i'm glad to hear that it's getting closer and closer.

I'm pretty tweaked about this one, I gotta say

. Goslings be rulin'. I find the Sunn o))) comparisons to be interesting given that they're so common, and that Sunn o))) would be WAY down the list of 'combos' I'd compare Goslings to

. I'm feelin' a sort of Angelic Process/Rallizes Denudes hybrid myself. Plus we avoid Sunn o)))'s rather geeky [IMO] monk schtick

yeah i dont see the sunno))) in their either really?? hard to put my thumb on exactly what i'd compare to? I've heard the my bloody valentine mention a good bit as well.. dont know about that one either?

heh, i was too lazy to bump the thread, i ordered that almost a week ago now.

the new not not fun batch was pretty sweet overall, ordered several things. not to mention bored fortress volume 3.

hoping the collab is still on that march/april course...

Slimm mentioned that they were around 80% ready with the collab (musicwise) with Warmth. So still a few months work I guess?

I tried to order a copy from the label, as well as a few other things...needed to find out postage but still haven't got a reply. Are they usually slow at replying to mail?

So, students of decay have "The Goslings - TBA LP" listed in their discography as SoD 23 forthcoming, and they're now up to SoD 74. Anyone know the story on this? will it ever happen?
