i hate falling in love with the wrong people

no, i mean i HATE it. this is wherein you post the REALLY fucked up stories...

i'll start with super short versions of my last 2 fiascos (and i will avoid telling names cause some people here might at least know 1 of the 2 ladies)

1) last summer: fell for a woman in a foreign country not too far away from where i live. problem: she was a psycho freak with somewhat of a massive alcohol problem who, just to illustrate her crazyness, had attacked her ex-husband (who's a musician most of us know) with a knive once. flew over there lived 3 days in paradise, got kicked out of her flat all of a sudden, lived 3 months in hell and a couple more in purgatory.

2) just recently: fell for a woman who's a) one of my best friends, b) 13 years older than i am, c) married, d) has a kid, e) (last but not least) is NOT in love with me.

perfect, huh?! and, no, i'm not a masochist. i really don't know why i fall in love with the wrong girls all the time...

I had a huge crush on a girl in HS and we were good friends, but she was going through a lesbian phase, and couldn't/wouldn't have more than a friendship with me. I eventually fell out of touch with her. Years later I became friends with her older brother and found out she was married with a kid. I still sigh thinking about it.

i used to have a huge problem falling for lesbians. it just seems that when women actually have their shit together they realize they don't need men.

i've been in my current relationship for almost 2 years now, so i can't really complain anymore... as far as i know, she's not a lesbian.

thanks for jinxing me... i hit two years with this girl back in may and we broke up yesterday. all was amicable, but that doesn't mean it's easy to deal with.
