I think Exai is pretty solid. Only listened to it all the way through a couple of times, but it has a lot more going for it than Quaristice, which I did not like at all. This has a much deeper, heavier sound. Feels a bit more rounded out, and Quaristice sounded incomplete to me, like the bottom end had been chopped off or left unfinished.

There were things about about Draft, Untilted, and Oversteps that I liked - but they just didn't come together for me as albums. I'm looking at Exai as two separate records in one package. Similar sounds and approaches, but together they're companion pieces instead of one long record.

five new soundboard recordings just appeared.. the original four (from 2014, Dublin in particular) are superb.

kinda disappointed at the lack of coverage for these recent recordings.. saw them recently in October, it was excellent. the sounds going on in these sets are marvelous, for lack of a description.

Interesting now that you've said that I am really digging this YouTube link. I only know Autechre's albums where the songs are like 4 to 5 minutes long.
