also, these guys need to take responsibility for the moves that get made in part because they insist on getting every last dollar. Melo could have easily come to the Knicks initially as a FA if that was what he really wanted, but instead he pushed his way there via trade a few months sooner, leaving the franchise much more stripped of assets to help him.

You need a hyphen there. I thought he quit.

I'd love to see Marco back in the Bay! http://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2015/6 ... n-of-rocky

Greatest shot I ever saw was Belinelli shooting it in from behind the backboard as he fell out of bounds in a game against the Bucks.

Excellent Reddit AMA with Nate Duncan, who is one of the best NBA guys out there.
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/3 ... _duncd_on/

He thinks that Porzingis and Kaminsky are the most overrated of the top 10 picks, is very high on Mudiay and Wittman isn't nearly as bad a coach as his reputation. Chris, there's a fair amount of talk about the Bulls.

Duncan's all-time NBA team, player and season and taking account of how the players would mesh, playing in current day NBA are:

Wilt 1967 (with a summer to prepare for the current game)
LeBron 2012
Durant 2014
MJ 1991
Curry 2015

He doesn't say it but implies that Curry should have been finals MVP.

I found out about him probably a year ago because Haralabos Voulgaris (@haralabob) follows Duncan (@NateDuncanNBA) on Twitter. Duncan is currently wiriting for RealGM and was somewhere else before that but I mostly see him on Twitter. I think he said in the AMA that he's a full-time lawyer whose only hobby is NBA.

I hope you follow Haralabob. He's very smart with a great sarcastic wit. He does not suffer fools!

I also follow Hardwood Paroxysm (Matt Moore).

I haven't listened to this Duncan podcast but he talks about the Warriors and Bulls off-season. I know a couple of people who might care.

Sounds like Cleveland and SA are going to do a trade to give both of them cap flexibility. Haywood would go to Spurs and a cheaper Spurs rotation player to Cavs. Not sure how it works out.

I wasn't but am now. Thanks.

Voulgaris's background is professional NBA bettor and pro poker player. He's a big number cruncher but records most if not all of the games and watches them very carefully. He's known to study coaches and referees. He's been interviewed by both Simmons and Lowe. One of the best things he ever wrote was a total takedown of the lying, cheating Tim Donaghy.

Finally somebody who agrees with me.

I don't know how anybody can imply that Iggy didn't deserve the MVP.
Without hyperbole I've really got nothing

Dunleavy staying with the Bulls. Three years is one too long, though.

Duncan, Aldridge, Leonard, Green, Parker beats GS's starting lineup. Aldridge hasn't announced his choice yet but with Splitter gone and Green back in the fold, one has to expect Aldridge to join SA.

A little concerned that management failed to reach an agreement with Draymond. They swear he's not going anywhere. Numbers I heard (5 yrs. 60 mil) sounded kind of low to me.

Dan Gilbert is looking at a $39M tax bill in 2015-16 for being way over the cap and that's not counting JR or Delly who haven't signed yet.

Kobe Bryant, please retire already.

Pierce to the Clips. The Truth finally will suit up for a hometown squad.
