re: GerCoffey, last page.

i still have no sense of definition of the latter 3/4 of this... but as i was drifting off it oddly recalled these faint, custodial (vacuum, buffing machine, etc.) sounds of yore.. thinking back to growing up, after-school sound environments, etc.

also noticed the mp3s are tagged as "lowercase" ... so this IS lowercase? that's a strange genre name.

p.s. is there any coded information in edition RZ cover art? I've always found their graphics, color schemes pleasing to the eye.

why not? (although Steve Roden may have a different view)

It's the name of the artist + the title of the album, with significant bits of the graphic masked off.

Electroacoustic/concrete drones, blend with natural objects and environment sounds. Very well put together from lengthy installation performances.

On my side, I felt something like "Idea Fire Company meets John Carpenter & Alan Howarth". Still a Shadow Ring signature with the voice...

Actually it's only the name of the artist, with the vertical, curved, backward-sloping, horizontal and forward-sloping lines separated from one another.
