Grisha hits NYC MKIII

so i am gonna be in NYC between 15th to 31st of August. obviously there are old thread about all this stuff but i guess it's been about 6 years since i last asked. right now i have couple of pizza and beer places recs from very reliable sources, and some exhibitions from looking at major museums' sites, but other than that, i welcome:

1) second hand music stores. i am very fond of cassettes in particular.

2) food - cheap and good. it's ok if it's not very cheap too.

3) any interesting exhibitions, please don't bother with anything too conceptual.

4) anything you think might interest me.

might also play a gig if a venue is found but that's on another thread.

Sounds like fun Grisha! Sadly only been to NYC a few times. So don't know how much I can help. But I would definitely recommend the American Folk Art Musuem!

heh, macarons are so last year here. current cooking focuses are bialys, cinnamon sugar almonds and pollo ciudad, but that may change again at any time.

I got a little grisha quality time, we met up at one concert and also did a lunch at Hill Country with Dave Q and Linden. I was lame and missed his concert, though.
