Oh, meant to say, it took me a while to find the time and place to sink into it, but I really enjoyed the disc. Very interesting sound world you inhabit. Looking forward to getting more familiar.grisha wrote:oh. hope you like it.
Re: Recent purchases redux
A very strong series of contemporary music documenting 15 years of performances, organized by the Mittersill Composers’ Forum (Wolfgang Seierl and Hannes Raffaseder).
Music derived from (or rather inspired by) Anton Webern, spans all sorts of areas within contemporary music, and it is both composed, and improvised (in the more recent discs). Acoustic, electronic, non-conventional instruments, weird new opera with contributions by Ablinger, Stangl, Hauf, Haas, Fagaschinski, and a large number of artists I had never heard before.
All recommended stuff, that I managed to get from Wolfgang Seierl at around 90 euros (a fraction of the listed cost). So ask them if you are interested.

How's that ? I forgot to check this out...

would be interested to hear what you make of them
i think Stanze (Rooms) is phenomenal.
Re: Recent purchases redux
Playing them now. On first listen, stanze is my favourite of the bunch. When i first heard Prima Stanza on Voce d'Orlo cd (4'44"), I told Osvaldo that it should have been developped as a longer piece. Now we got it! Atto is also a very good one, music made with objects. I have to live a little more with string quartets.bedouin wrote:yes same here.javier4w wrote:Just arrived the three new cds from Osvaldo Coluccino:

Re: Recent purchases redux
record store right near my place is small and mostly I get uninteresting stuff (interesting to me, but nothing notable) but pretty happy with today's haul
Re: Recent purchases redux
How's the new Hose album Yii? Have you listened to it yet? Am pretty curious about it.
