Listening to Postcommodity, "Your New Age Dream Contains More Blood Than You Imagine," out on Anarchymoon. A really nice release.

well, not exactly now as I'm at work, but tonight:

Jack Wright, Ben Wright, Mike Pride, Nate Wooley - Tenterhooks (2009)
Jack Wright, Tony Dryer, Jacob Felix Heule - Deburring Tool (2009)
Jack Wright, Hans Buetow, Ben Hall - Over the transom (2008)

Three Jack Wright releases on the bug incision label, which are the closest, I've seen, official label releases from Mr Wright. All worth tracking down.

Word. They're all very good indeed - Over The Transom is my favourite

Not sure what you mean by *official labels*, but Jack released a swell Nom Tom joint [his trio with Jon Mueller and Carol Genetti] on the Spring Garden imprint in 2005, the year I saw them perform in a small room. The live presentation was electrifying.

I mean discs officially released by an actual label. Two other discs come to mind with with Doneda/Nakatani on the seemingly defunct(?) SOS Editions and Sprout labels. Sometime ago I got a few CDRs from Jack Wright one of which a really good trio with Reuben Radding and Matt Moran (*), but the rest pretty lo fi affairs.

Michael Anton Parker released some Jack Wright discs, too, but they were hard to get/bad communication/seem to have disappeared.

Yes, the second Jack / Doneda / Nakatani trio, No Stranger To Air, was on MAP's shortlived Sprout label. Bet the first one by that trio on SOS Editions (from between) is pretty hard to find these days too. Shame - two terrific discs.

yeah, the guy from SOS Editions hasn't answered mails in a long time, the musicians can't get CDs from him either. shame, he did some great ones, but I haven't been able to get more of the Annette/Toshi in years (and he lives very close to me).

Jim O'Rourke, Mizu No Nai Umi, Headz

Definitely one of my favourite Jim O outings, on a label I very much like.

and what do you think of this?

this morning:

Keith Rowe / Axel Dörner / Franz Hautzinger A View From The Window

Ernesto Diaz-Infante / Manuel Mota / Gino Robair / Ernesto Rodrigues
Our Faceless Empire, Pax Recordings 2010

Not a great fan of Ernesto's earlier recordings, but this one speaks. The quartet keeps it restless, bleeding edge improv with lots of breathing air. Very good disc.
