Looks like there's more Ghybberish available to pick, see KD's blog, other stuff too.

Disc 2 of Ghybberish is entirely high frequency pure wave eardrum-tickling manipulations a la Amacher, Lucier. The title and cover art for it are perfect: INCUS FEAR. Track 4 is great. Benefits from still air and volume to get those 'drums oscillating with unsettling third tones.

Disc 1 has some good stuff as well but the Incus Fear disc is the type of release that I wish existed, now it does. Probably not the best for tinnitus sufferers, though.

I finally ordered the Necro Acoustic box set from Mimarogulu this weekend and I'm really excited for it to arrive, very excited for it - Second, S/T, Land Of Lurches, Imperial Distortion and the collab with Prurient are great favorites of mine - still haven't grabbed Imperial Horizon though which is not cool........

Does anyone know the venue, or circumstances of this performance? I'm just curious, for sake of remembering. I think it would have been at the old location of the Music Gallery, at the closing festival before they moved... it was a two-day event, and I recall that there was some musicians from chicago, and pita was there, but I can't really remember, I was 18 and there's no record of the show on the internets that I can find, and I didn't buy a Drumm CD until the following year so I wouldn't have known who he was. Anways, very cool to see this unearthed.

according to pita's archived site, he played that venue on July 21 so it would have to be a different show. only on my phone now so I can't check more carefully, but there is no mention of other musicians.

Ah yes, it was in July. I remember Marcus Schmickler was a performer at the Music Gallery show, as well as Phoenecia, John Oswald some people from Chicago (can't remember who) and bunch of locals (including me, under an old alias), but not Drumm I guess. I do wonder what the event was, sounds like a decent audience was present from the applause at the end of the recording. Really good set!
