First 2011 album I'm really excited about - great droning, miserable country from the former and long-inactive frontman of Lift To Experience.

It's great! I listened all the way through on 33 before reading some fine print on the mego site that informed me of it's actual 45 playing speed! Really good both ways though!

Maybe a little busy for some folks here, but it seems noetinger was doing live manipulations of all the other players, and there are some real twisted sound puzzles that happen... Really good.

Oh, and beautifully recorded - no room sound really at all, present and vivid.

Any thoughts? Was thinking of getting this as I liked his Triadic Memories of some years back.

As for now:

I think it's good. The mics are very close - they seem to be right inside the body of the piano, which is the chief distinguishing feature from other available recordings that I've heard. But then I usually do like close mics, and I suppose some people would say that it isn't appropriate here.

Not my favourite For Bunita Marcus. Mics are so close that there is much resonance. I much prefer his take on Triadic Memories.
