FMP has a big retrospective box coming out, which contains both issued and unissued material. Apparently the discs will be available separately thereafter:

http://www.fmp-label.de/special-subscri ... index.html

One CD in particular caught my eye:

CD 06 (FMP CD 142): UND?...plus / Malfatti/Wittwer 1977
Radu Malfatti-trombone, etc.; Stephan Wittwer-guitar, etc.
Reissue: LP UND? & Bonus Track
Liner Notes: Felix Klopotek

Now available: Morton Feldman - Crippled Symmetry: at June in Buffalo, performed by The Feldman Soloists (Eberhard Blum, Nils Vigeland, Jan Williams)

that whole series looks tempting. unissued die like a dog (as a quartet with kondo), schlippenbach quartet, solos by van hove, brotzmann, kowald.... that Carl/Reichel/Zingaro disc even looks potentially exciting to me. I might have to figure out how to order this subscription since I'll probably wind up wanting to buy at least 2/3 of it anyway.
The grammatical rules associated with diagrammatic reduction become apparent by considering a more tractable diagrammatic representation, applied to the Windsor knot in Fig. 8. - Fink & Mao, Tie knots, random walks and topology, (Physica A 276)

I wonder if he asked Radu about reissuing that.. can't see him agreeing to it myself, but maybe someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Great damn record, anyway.

"The Hidden Peak" might be my favorite Schlippenbach trio/quartet release (though recording quality is not the best). Parts of the music obviously have been edited out on the original LP (the last long piece fades out) - I hoped the CD would include a more complete version, but seemingly it won't. Nevertheless...

You know, I didn't even think of "Lucy Song" since I was focusing on Lescalleet's solo work. I was considering this Jason's first foray into piano music. I forgot about the piano in the bath tub on The Breadwinner.

I'm really looking forward to hearing Air Supply. I heard that this record is a continuation of The Breadwinner. I can't imagine where they're going to take us from there!

yes, he knew and agreed, although he let Stephan basically pick the bonus material. :)

those are en route to me also, and I should have them by Tues-Wed or so, just in time for the new Pisaro/Sugimoto Erst to be ready.

I also have a few copies of two as yet unannounced new b-boims, both by Radu, which will be listed once I'm home Tuesday.

Postage rates from Germany to the United States are forbiddingly high - sending a single CD by airmail is more than 8 US-$! And this is going to be a big and heavy box...

6.90 Euros within Germany are quite acceptable. I pre-ordered the box, though I would have liked to see another European release included instead of the Lacy disc.

it's not a box, it's 8 individually released discs at the normal individual price (possibly a bit discounted if they're all bought together, I tried to convince Radu of that, but I'm not sure whether he definitively decided). anyway, that's delayed a bit but should be ready very soon.

the b-boims will look a bit different now, he has cool-looking black bottom CD-Rs and a much more professional way of printing on the CD itself.
