i think several of Detroit techno albums can count as concept albums, by folks like Carl Craig, Jeff Mills or Drexciya.
I was going to be a neo-deconstructivist but mom wouldn't let me.

Seeds - Future. Not sure exactly what the concept is, but its there. Somewhere.

wow, lots of records i don't know been mentioned here, quite some ground covered already.

there seems to be much concept in music...why isn't there any in my life?

I'm sure I'm being predictable by saying this but it's my favorite album and it IS a concept album... actually the culmination of an arc of concept albums.
