I'd say all of that, closer to the jazz side of things probably. This is mainly an Ullmann project. They have a string of releases on Leo, none of which I recall being outstanding but it's been a while since I've listened to this stuff...
Oh here's a YouTube clip for you to decide to go. Or not.

btw how do you embed stuff on this board? Copy/pasting the embed code from YouTube doesn't seem to work...

Edit: and damn! Lukaz are you reading my mind or what?!

sure, I think the tour is now chicago/philly/four stops in texas, I'll post the full details when I have them.

lønning and reinertsen also play together as the duo streifenjunko, they have done a bunch of recent european shows with keith rowe and norwegian video artist kjell bjørgeengen, looking forward to seeing them for the first time.

Talked to Eivind extensively after a concert last November - about AMM, Keith Rowe (whom he was quite enthusiastic about), the co-op with Keith Rowe and Kjell Bjørgeengen, the current Norwegian improvised music scene (and yes, Eivind has one foot standing in more jazz-related music) and many more things. I asked him if he already got to meet you, Jon, and he indicated that he was looking forward to seeing you sometime... Great guy, he sold me the Streifenjunko CD at a ridiculous (low) price as I ran short of cash that evening (shame on me).

that would get me to nyc, which is my point - if i am gonna spend two hours, it's not worth it for the should-be-close princeton. that's new york time. princeton is just weirdly a pain to get to via public transit.
