the vinyl release is not going to be on perdition plastics. i can't guess a price, but it's supposed to be a high-quality double lp so 'cheap' probably isn't it.

yeah, I don't know the label either, but I know it's supposed to be out very soon, and with additional previously unreleased material from that session/time (!).

Had an email exchange with KD a few weeks back. He let me know about the aforementioned LP reissue of the s/t (with unreleased tracks from the era as the 4th side), as well as something else. I asked him if it was cool to let the word out about these projects but since he didn't say and some time has passed, I assume it's cool:

"In April there's going to be a boxset on Pica disc, 5 cds of some out of print and unreleased stuff.
the box will contain the out of print malaise 2xcass,light's out(which is available for free on the blog),hour long organ track from comedy, some out of print vinyl and about 80 minutes of unreleased stuff new and old."

Sounds pretty cool indeed!

But after all these boxsets from Pica, this one almost comes as expected! I know Lasse Marhaug doesn't like to communicate about releases from his label before they're finalized so we'll have to wait I guess...

Also taking a look at the Pica Disk homepage, I found this incredible thing:

Oh well not so incredible after all:

I won't get any of this stuff but still that makes me wonder who's gonna be buying that? Oh well who cares?

Oh really? I don't have much to say about Zorn, but the Jazkamer offerings sound pretty good. I'll probably pick the metal and grindcore ones up at some point, would be curious to hear the blues oine too.
