Have been listening to this while trying to pretend to work, and while I do not embrace a single track here (no background in surfing, I'm afraid), it's a beautiful listen taken as a whole, almost every track has a detail I'm into. So I guess it must be a superb mix.

You know, I actually find it kinda hard to make a podcast of experimental music. Maybe it is just me, but when I listen to stuff like Keith Rowe or Morton Feldman, I usually listen to them a long time. Recordings also tend to be long, which doesn't lend to podcasting very well (or the standard mix length). I will try though. I am going to look for shorter pieces and maybe mix them in with some of the more avant-pop stuff I have.

BTW I have a few more mixes on my blog. Mostly I am just mixing indie stuff with old music. Nothing too obscure though. All pop music. Here is the mix I just uploaded.

this is a mix im making for my contracts professor... it wasnt really my idea - my section is getting all our professors gifts & someone asked if anyone wanted to make a mix for this professor - & i jumped @ the idea

this semester hes played the ronettes, the carpenters & belle & sebastian, quoted the velvet underground, & mentioned sonic youth, willie nelson & bill graham

all of these songs are somehow related to contracts or the ideas underlying contracts... i havent figured out the track order yet... but if anyone knows of any other songs that would work, i would def be ok w/ replacing some of these songs

maybe through dave's blog. it has some stuff from my older mixes - about 5 tracks, i think. i just saw one of these brazilian "groove" comps on my friend's mp3 player, and decided to make a better one for him. i think i succeeded. it's funky and disco-ey and mostly danceable as opposed to the usual "loungy" vibe.

I've been digging into Milton Nascimento's catalogue lately, so my mixes have been Milton sprinkled with Tuca, Veloso, Buarque and some others (including some tracks gathered from your previous mixes grisha).
