Goh Lee Kwang - Cicadas 1 (Why Not)

This sounds good, very uplifting. Doesn't sound much like cicadas though?

THX! cicadas was the working title at the time (2002), it just "somehow" related to the sound of cicadas. like i told you in email i m not very sure this album is very good but still it was an important project for me.

on the same project also released on Pseudoarcana Records in 2004 (now OOP).
You probably will want to check this out - these are crickets - symphonies of crickets in fact.....absolutely gorgeous stuff!

Those Milan and Novi Singers recordings are amazing!
What's the benefit of getting the re-issues? Bonus tracks? Videos?

Experimental music should be something that suggests a way of organizing your thinking, your attitude toward the world, which suggests that the world could be different.

I think I heard an interview with this guy on NPR a year or two ago.. he actually collects and orchestrates the crickets for compositions or something along those lines?

American Primitive Vol. 1
Raw Pre-War Gospel (1926-36

This is what i thought the early music thread was going to be about...unfortunately all i can add to that thread is it would indeed be nice to have fear back, i'd add dialecticbricks (sp?) to this list as well.
