so i recently got interested in taking photos again, and i know there was a good thread on the previous board. also quam just finished some shit for school which i want to see so i expect him to post that in here. but here are a few shots i took recently, haven't had another day that's been good for shooting yet, which is unfortunate because i just got a pentax k1000 as a starter film SLR and i'm itching to take some shots with it. but, photos.

Nice shots, but a bit huge don't you think? I'd put in something < 640x480 and then link to the full size. You can put URL tabs around images so people can just "click to enlarge" fwiw.

Thanks for that, didn't realize. screen resolution is relatively high so i forget that those might be browser breaking for some people. editing now.

oh, here are the recent photos i did. They are "trichromate" prints, which is one layer cyanotype(blue) and two gum bichromate laters (yellow and red). I am pretty psyched about em. Normally this process is done with a different negative(inkjet) for each color, but i just used one. Came out sorta weird.

i don't have photoshop right now so i'm stuck gimping it, but i did mess around with it a little bit before putting it up. didn't try to make it all that much darker though, but a bit. was glad to see you favorite it though. i should get photoshop soon so i'll have some more versatility, if i do anything new to it i'll be sure to post it

Most of my black and white photos are taken with a Yashica Mat TLR, developed by me in darkroom, and sepias are mostly hand tinted. The color ones are either taken with a Pentax ZX, film developed in a lab; or with a small digital Canon Powershot SD900, which I use for street photos, it fits in the palm of my hand.

Today I had to wait around the U. of Huntsville campus for a couple hours, so I borrowed my mom's camera... basically just to take pictures of junk as a way to avoid boredom.

I only got one shot I liked enough to actually put it up, and it was difficult to get a really nice angle or anything. I was using an unfamiliar camera (not a very fancy one either), and I had to press into the wall just to get a semi-decent angle... I'm also not too knowledgeable about how to operate cameras as it is. Still, I like it anyways, and I basically feel like "If it looks good, it's good." So here she be:

Hello hello,

always wished i had a Leica camera...last week end, i have spotted a shop in London selling a few of them and, surprise, a digital model for less than 500GBP!! Has anyone tried Digilux ?!? A quick googling taught me these are rather pricey (at least the double of the aforementioned price), but i could hardly find any review... As i didn't know about these before i saw them in the shop i didn't bother registering if these were digilux 2 or 3 though...
Any thought?!? Should i rush back to the shop?!?
