Carlos Gonzalez has been placed on the disabled list at Triple-A with a sprained ankle.

He was off to a great start at Sacramento, hitting .343 through 18 games, and is only expected to miss one week.

I always liked Carlos, I can see why other teams in the division dont though. He's got that "I dont give a fuck and will throw at you" mentality that Pedro did in his prime.

Chris Shelton, btw, might be playing every day for Texas since Broussard literally doesn't have an RBI since opening week.

Reynolds is better than that, though. He did this last year when he came up, too. He's much more legit than Shelton (or Shane Spencer, etc).

the Tigers have been winning the last few weeks.

Rasner's going to get an extended chance before Igawa, Rasner is out of options and has been tearing up AAA, so they'll almost definitely lose him if they don't keep him on the team. so unless he's awful, he'll probably be on the team for quite some time, as a starter or a long guy.

I do love baseball, but I can't stand watching it on television. You've got to be there.

That's why I like minor league ball. A nice summer evening at the park..And it's cheap. Fun.
