Rombix is a project of Roman Voronovskiy, quite perspective musician from Moscow, Russia, that certainly will not be lost in the eclectic international experimental scene. Roman makes his music pure analog way, using hand-made cassette loops, vinyl and tape recorders.

Minimalism, soft glitch, elements of jazz, ambient and even abstract hip-hop are the basic components of Rombix. Add here amusing samples of russian speech and common romantic mood, that makes such a pleasant singularity with self-esteem.

Re'sequence is a project of Dmitriy Anikin from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, playing smooth electronic jazz with lot?s of supplementary elements.

Like in most of Hitchcock's and Melville's movie pictures, the subject and composition, the hero and decorations are reduced to utmost simplicity. The clarity of feelings, reiteration of the same things exist as a guarantee of different stories existence.

After their debut "Something About Frost" (es11), released last year, Vlad Kudryavtsev and Alexander Kumach strike back at the wide internet spaces.

Monokle continues its music investigations in a boundary electronic music places. This time, tracks combines live guitar and piano themes with a sharp synthetic tunes, that balance at the edges of psychedelic music and entertaining genres. "Ideas Aloud" establishes, that Monokle goes into orbit of another emotional dimensions, where the structure and any rules are less important than harmony.

These albums, in particular "moths dissolving" are some of my absolute favourite Australian releases.

"moths dissolving" is one of my favourite records.

beautiful, thoughtful, delicate stuff. recommended in general, moths dissolving in particular.

Noise is the Message continuation: PLI new CD online by Alfredo Costa Monteiro and L?os Ator

I met Alfredo Costa Monteiro in Marseille, and my move to Barcelona intensified our exchanges. But, apart from this geographical approach, our collaborations are based on the prevalence of action and practice rather than the idea. Our mutual curiosity, our common taste for disturbance and mistake wouldn't have been enough to establish our pact, if we hadn't both assumed that this agreement, far from being preconceived, has to be elaborated in practice, which means to be set in motion, disturbed, endangered, and first of all, to fail.

So, we fail together and sometimes in public. Preferably loudly.

We commited this new multitrack poem as a polyglot polyphony : Castillian, Portuguese, French.

This new odd number, based on voices, feedback, walkmen is a recording of performances we did after a residency at the GRIM in Marseille and in Barcelona, organized by IBA, col.lectiu d'improvisaci?.

This compilation is a collection of tracks from various musicians from eleven russian cities. The booklet (in russian language) contains the authors? photos and text descriptions, to read and to feel.

No more words. Just listen. Because, in spite of everything and against all the odds, we are proud to be here, to have such a place to live. And nothing will change this.

Sergey Yakimov from Ekaterinburg, also known as SM and Deadline (as he regularly appears on various ES releases), recorded his most mature album at the moment. Starting with psychedelic techno with crystal-clear synthetic melodies it continues with deep and warmer themes full of syncopated beats and rich ambient dub forms.

And, at the end of the road, we get 6 meritorious remixes, performed in a broad style range: idm, downbeat and the astonishing post-rock apotheosis.

The composition of this album is based on philosophy and practical instructions of the Great Masters of Alchemy. This music is an attempt to reconstitute the spirit of Coniunctio, an alchemical mystery. Alchemy knows a lot about opposite images, like water and fire, dryness and wetness, warmth and cold, the volatile and the fixed, the bodily and the spiritual, the Sun and the Moon, gold and silver, circle and square?

The punk-style guitar riffs and vocal phrases adjoin with angelic choir, church organ, and transparent piano passages. Coniunctio is the understanding or experience of the unity of opposites or paradoxes that lies beyond the world of duality.

[es33] Maguett - "Ceramicboy"

These are the words that Dmitry Drozdov says about his project and his album (author?s specific orthography is preserved):

?Ceramicboy is a meeting of improvisations of emotional impulses making a part of my consciousness. The blanket of compositions reflects my musical predilections and initial aspirations for self-realisation in electro-samplers to system of co-ordinates. I do not see necessary to concretize images in the created compositions, the direction is in the album name. In the manual ?It is volume a spatial composition? (1993) such writing of the French word ?breadboard model? is specified (?Maguette?, in a correct writing, as it has appeared later). I could not interrupt such interconnection of the plan of my project, the manual and the small letter ?e???.
