The Wire Tapper compilations are mostly a good working guide to the lowest common denominator of what the Wire covers, like if you averaged out all the genre review pages into actual projects. Occasionally, though, there's a gem, like that track by Colleen or the one by Clogs. I'm unearthly familiar with the last six or so Wire Tappers because I (who knows why) burned them to my computer before leaving the US.
Recently Played for me:
Stangl / Unami - I Was
Beins / Capece / Nakamura / Davies - Sound Like Water (not released yet, but is completely awesome)

No, I can't call this movie "shit", but I remember than I prefered the book. I think the movie was softer, the actors were pretty and clean. Drugs, prostitution of the kids, etc. are not easy to be shown on a big screen. Usualy the author of a book can take liberty of showing more. [Movie was directed by Uli Edel].

I like the Wire Tapper for what it is, a fun compilation thingie you get once a month with the magazine...

I've been listening to a lot of music on my crappy ear phones lately, but I finally plugged this one into my stereo, and it sounds really awesome, and I'm glad that I've returned to regular speakers for the time being. Incredible composistions very intricate and agreeable to me.

I really like the track from Tonesucker on the current issue of The Wire Tapper, the feeling of getting Wire Magazine each month is really happy because is a total lack of music magazines in my country, The Wire is the only one i can go for sometimes i would buy it and go to the beach and read it
