Field Music - really impressed with this for recent pop. sounds like loose-fur and the lighter side of XTC. i've been playing all their cds pretty heavily after finding out about them.

That was a wicked show.....after about an hour and a half, my wife simply said, "let's get the fuck out of here"....which is always a sign of an out-of-body experience....

Such a cool live recording. Terrific percussion and yelling, and Chinese folk song sampling. This is straight up in your face, metal banging art aggression with a vengence.

Sir Richard Bishop - Fingering The Devil | LP (Latitudes)

Very nice swanky brown and clear Qbico like vinyl. I wish the jacket was a bigger version of the CD.

Andrea Neumann - Innenklavier [A Bruit Secret, 3" CD, 2002]

The cover's greeny-blue and white bands are particularly appealing, with the reverse colours used in both fields for the artist and title, which are printed in lowercase. It opens out in book format, and the 3" CD is held in place by the reversal of the third fold of card bearing the track titles and brief acknowledgements. The reverse of the second fold is perhaps a little unimaginative, an all-white panel with the label, again in lowercase, printed near the bottom with the catalogue number. It comes sealed in plastic that initially offers a certain amount of protection from small scuffs and other marks, but which I found ultimately hindered the removing and replacing of the CD.

Hilarious, without Pantone numbers I'm having a hard time picturing your cover, overall it sounds quite nice. If I could have found a picture of the Sir Richard Bishop I would have posted it. Mentioning it was more of a knee jerk reaction as it is a very well done slab of vinyl. I guess being a graphic designer attracts me to details of the layout and package as well. Although it's only a bonus to the music which is the reason for the purchase, and in this case it's fantastic.

i really like this. haven't heard any of his later stuff -- the album covers look pretty wacky. does anyone have any recommendations for something similiar, by Iasos or someone else?
