nice recording quality on these.. Track 11 got nice feeling, kinda takes me back to silver jews. the keyboard, or lasers, or whatever the fuck that is near the end, is cool-sounding.

Hey thanks yeah a lot of the recordings are oldies but goodies heh. Actually those laser like sounds on track 11 are tape manipulations (on an analog 4-track) of pre recorded elephant sounds on this really old keyboard.

it's a gem of a track.. i like how the drums wait for the song to push forward, and the piano. those tape sounds are dope.

sort of related, i've always liked this Earth track, the drumming is similarly of the pace of the song.

Damn, thank you Mono Tony! It's always nice to hear feedback on stuff I've recorded, whether it be good or bad. I'll check out that YouTube link you posted in a little bit, but I used to have that album, I remember I bought it right after the Terrastock Festival in Rhode Island years ago, along with Sonic Youth's Rather Ripped, a Scott Walker album, Om, Sunn0))), and an Alan Licht album (the one with the clocks on the cover, and the weather report mixed with different experimental sounds I believe). Yes I remember those days of driving around Amherst listening to that Earth album, graduating from college, and doing victory laps, blasting that shit in my old car!

As this music is glacial, I thought that was a sign to maybe share it. Cover art is a black and white photograph of a piece of glacial ice on a beach in Iceland, with dirt and bubbles in it.
