I have been on a few kicks: Wet Tuna releases on Bandcamp, John Zorn's IAO, Coltrane's late 50's hard bop stuff, Sunwatchers, lots of Bill Orcutt solo, anything Mary Halvorson...and for some reason, I need to hear Reign In Blood once a day right now???

I didn't think that it had anything to do with extending the frequency range, as much as the ability to capture and extract more information in the audible range.
