Hello humans of Internet!
I recently watched An Actor's Revenge/Revenge of a Kabuki Actor and loved it. I haven't seen anything else by Ichikawa... are all his movies of this quality? I figure a lot of what I enjoyed about this movie is the way its shot, and a lot of that probably has to do with the subject matter (Kabuki theater movie, gotta shoot it like a theater production).
Briefly looking through his filmography, there are a couple movies that sound interesting (The Inugami Clan, for instance).
Which of his movies are available to westerners, and are any as visually pleasing as An Actor's Revenge?
