All this bickering about San Diego is moot: Pats win it all this season.

Does this mean that Scottie isn't gonna join in on the Favre career interception count? :(

An alcoholic, a hobo and a stalker walk into a bar...

(Sorry, all the vitriolic exchanges got me nostalgic about the fun I used to have baiting, flaming and generally getting into pissing matches elsewhere on the web many years ago)

The good news is, the Lions haven't lost yet. So, there's that.

A certain syndicated very pc Southern California radio douche called out Mangini today for not naming his starting QB (although local news tonight said it was Brady Quinn, which isn't exactly a shocker since DA looked pretty bad when I saw him) which I, for a change, think the criticism is legit for an action that would only serve to irritate the Vikings like he's trying to get something over on them (to tell the truth, it sounds exactly like something the sex-tape guy in a hoodie would do). What he should be doing is having the DBs practice with the backup punter so they can anticipate some of the balloons that will be coming their way on Sunday.

Yo, Cappz. How long before James Davis starts, IYO? I've got Lewis on my bench, but I'm thinking about plucking Davis out of the free agent pool and dropping Lewis.

Hard to say Scottie but he had a great preseason and there's not exactly an abundance of talent in front of him. I'd say pretty early but I'm not sure how Mangini rolls...

One final thing on the Shawne Merriman/Tequila Copulotto story: If she would've passed out from the choking, would he have flicked his "Lights Out" tattoo? :?

have we talked about how the NFL refuses to relax their rule on TV blackouts of games to a team's home market if the game doesn't sell out? I'm predicting they at least relax the rule by the end of the season, but possibly I'm underestimating the intransigence/stupidity of the powers that be.

I can pretty much guarantee you that not a single Raiders home game will be televised in the Bay Area this season.

Having a blackout policy for a professional sport that only plays 8 home games a season is the height of absurdity anyway. And with the astronomical ticket prices these days (and this economy), I agree with jon, they're going to have to do something.

There are simply too many fans, especially those with a family to bring along, that cannot afford current ticket prices. Hey, I know! Let's also not show the game on television and alienate them even more! Yeah, awesome idea.

A resounding vote of confidence for Alice; that he hasn't threatened to bolt for LA is proof positive that he's jumped the shark.

Maybe but I don't think anybody would take it seriously....

Jesus fucking Christ, does anybody on the Titans know how to field a fucking punt? Jeff Fisher is such a douche; the George Karl of the enneffell.

Do you have a houseguest from Visalia using your computer?
