WHRB orgies
FYI, they're on 009: Dean Roberts/Werner Dafeldecker-Aluminium right now, going through the whole catalog in order if you want to hear a specific one.
this has been really interesting for me actually, I hadn't planned on listening to much of it, but I haven't heard a lot of these in a long time. this one sounds a lot better than I recalled.

I agree. I thought this sounded great on the program. I'm going to go back and listen to it again. I caught a lot of the show today--about eight hours. I really enjoyed it. It was nice hearing the music in historical context and it's rather amazing to hear all the early stuff again and hear how different it all sounds in the context of the newer stuff.jon abbey wrote:FYI, they're on 009: Dean Roberts/Werner Dafeldecker-Aluminium right now, going through the whole catalog in order if you want to hear a specific one.

I was sleeping, but yuko said he talked about how professional I was as a producer, which he said is very rare in this area of music, that kind of thing.mudd wrote:damn, i didn't know they had interviews happening.
of course, i wouldn't have been able to hear it before now anyways, but i would have been interested in hearing greg kelley. what did he say?
part 2 starts on wednesday night the 17th, they have more interviews, although maybe just e-mail ones, with toshi and friederike, maybe more from keith, not sure exactly. they made it through 021 today, so poire_z + kicks off next week.
yeah, Bill, I pulled out a couple to relisten to also, interesting how I liked some more than I thought, and others less.
dammit, evenings and internet radio just don't work so well these days. i don't suppose they archive?jon abbey wrote: part 2 starts on wednesday night the 17th, they have more interviews, although maybe just e-mail ones, with toshi and friederike, maybe more from keith, not sure exactly. they made it through 021 today, so poire_z + kicks off next week.
i'll see if i can catch some of it, anyway. they're gonna play the box straight through?
