Happy birthday to your wife as well Walto.

Gonzaga would be interesting if they got to Kentucky because not only do they have size but they also have a very good Kentucky transfer in Wiltjer, so that might cut into the mystique factor and up the revenge factor.

Unlike all past years, this year I believe in Gonzaga, and I think they can and will beat Duke. Even though I am in next to last place (MRS has finished in last place every year we've done a bracket challenge I believe), I can still win if

- Gonzaga makes it to the Final 4
- Arizona beats UK

I havent checked out the scenario generator lately, but I think that puts me in first.

I think I win the pool if the following things happen: 1.) Kentucky wins the national championship, 2.) Wisconsin gets to the Final Four, 3.) Gonzaga gets to the Final Four, 4.) Louisville does not get to the national championship game.

Sorry, Biv. I had the Wolfpack winning this one. Kinda fell apart the last 10 minutes. They were Jeckyll-Hyde during the season and even in this single half. Nice run, though.

And as we might have expected, Pitino fails to mention them in his interview.

You have to mention your opponents in the post game. NC St overachieved by making it to the second weekend. That should make the season a success.

Maryland lands Wisconsin's best recruit since Dekker, center Diamond Stone. Big loss for Bucky. You will love him.

one factor hurting the quality of many of these games is playing in these huge domes, much harder to shoot in those.

Gary's lackadaisical attitude toward recruiting blue chippers led me to ignore these types of players. Plus I generally find it uninteresting. But even I know who this guy is.

Didn't actually see the game, as Schaumann and I were getting annihilated at a Swans show (holy shit). But yes, a great season and loads of talent to build on this next year.

wow, Notre Dame with a really impressive half. I don't know if they have another one in them though playing only six guys against Kentucky's constant wearing athleticism, Grant hasn't sat a minute all tournament yet.

very sorry, Darren. I feel dirty rooting this much for Wisconsin and Michigan St., but holy shit did Dekker put on a show. I was going to post that he was a stud and he still had two or three shots to go, each one seemingly more ridiculous than the last. that last one was an insaen ceiling-scraping rainbow. evidently he was talking trash the whole game also, I was getting Larry Bird in his prime flashbacks...

that was a sick game, wow. how about the matching NBA length three pointers to trade the lead late?

also unbelievable that Grant somehow got the ball on line and close on that last shot, he had three guys flying at him including Cauley-Stein and was falling backwards.

I didn't like the way Brey didn't double Townes late.

Really good game, Surf. Stripes very involved. Didn't like Frank's flop. Dekker did the same thing in high school. Kill shots.

he evidently scored 12 points in the final 49 seconds to win the state championship game, scoring 40 overall in a 67-66 comeback win. I mean, that is just unheard of at any level.
