LeBron tweeted that too, can't believe I missed it live with all the crappy Giants football I sit through. he is an insane athlete, hopefully he can stay healthy.

I take back my defense of Stafford. Cap is right, the dude flat out is not getting it done. Brutal game against NE, one of the worst QB performances this century.

I was disappointed in Stafford too, but Jon has discussed a much worse performance that Geno pulled off recently. I think the Dalton one I whined about was also worse than Stafford's. But it's academic--they were all really putrid outings.

Tony Romo evidently thinks it's already December.

SEA in a lot better shape now with back to back whuppings of ARI and SF. Kaepernick looked awful, everything to the sideline was a jump ball at best, seemingly aimed at the opponent more than a couple of times.

Some judge just rammed last years Macy's Christmas tree up Goodellspeak's fat ass for his mishandling of the Ray Rice situation. Well done, owners; take a fucking bow.

Can the Raiders cut the entire team and fire absolutely everybody?

Is Dallas just gonna play the rest of the season on Thursday?

Shit now it's looking like the Cards won't make the playoffs.

Incredible shootout in Green Bay today as Rodgers outdueled Brady. Barely.

Welp the Brian Hoyer experiment might be over. Too many turd throws to not take advantage of opportunities the Bills gave the Browns such that when momentum shifted it was all over.

I thought it was impossible for Marvin Lewis to outsmart anybody not named Mike Brown but that's why Lovie Smith exists.

I felt bad for Ryan and the Jets last night. If they had even a so-so QB--the kind that most teams have as third stringers--and had re-signed Revis, they'd be at least a .500 team--certainly better than the Dolphins. Great run game, and nice pass rush--if only they could use it without fear.

Don't feel sorry for Rex; he was giving a big middle finger to Idzik and the front office for forcing him to play Geno imo. LOL at them being in the "evaluate QB" mode and don't let him throw the ball. They still would've won if it weren't for that dogshit kicker.

In Browns news, Josh Gordon needs to get his head out of his ass and start exerting himself to help the team out. He completely dogged it after an interception where he and Hoyer weren't on the same page regarding where he would break in coverage which is not surprising when you add a receiver this late in the season. His body language has been terrible for a team which is still in the playoff hunt. I don't know how much of the Browns QB woes to lay on Hoyer, Kyle Shanahan or Mike Pettine. Hoyer has looked terrible but the plays he was given to run almost guaranteed failure. Not sure what Kyle thought he was seeing that would have been successful but it resulted in a poorly prepared team which, considering Pettine was on the Bills staff last season, is inexcusable.

for the record, the Jets problems are not so easily diagnosed, and both the pass rush and the running game have been far from reliable throughout the season. I agree that if NY had signed Revis plus a few clones plus they had a better QB, they'd be in better shape, but they're another disastrous NY team right now (and the Giants are moving in that direction also).

Tough to run when you pretty much always HAVE to.

again, the dysfunction is more complicated than that, as Mark Sanchez is proving right now just by being competent. the Jets are masters at doing Just Enough To loSe, with a different formula each week. need one last defensive stand up late in the game? pass rush is guaranteed to disappear. need a GW FG from your amazing kicker, who virtually never misses? he had a chance at the end to beat NE and it was blocked. it's another organization that needs to be sold and rebuilt from the ground up to have any chance at real success.

The Raiders lose all year despite me picking them several times, then win one when I don't pick them, get blown out when I do pick them, now lose again and I didn't pick them. They're just mocking me at this point. LOL@ the 49ers.

I generally like Cris Collinsworth, but he really annoyed me last night when, while a Charger receiver was lying on the ground, after a loud helmet-to-helmet crunch--maybe paralyzed or in a coma or something--he was whining about how the Patriot defender was clearly trying to hit the guy's shoulder. Collinsworth kept repeating that the officials were probably just confused by seeing the receiver's head snap back so viciously. I had the feeling that Michaels was silently motioning him to shut the fuck up while he was reminding Cris that the receiver was defenseless at the time, because the last thing Collinsworth said (weirdly) after ten minutes of complaining about both the penalty and the rule was "it was probably the right call."

Otherwise, I kind of enjoyed the game until the last ten minutes or so. I thought the Chargers put up a pretty nice fight. Their defense wasn't as bad as I expected. They made some nice defensive stands, got to Brady occasionally, had interceptions/blown interceptions, etc. And the offense had some pretty receptions of their own. Made the Pats look less invulnerable than they've looked the last few weeks (including during their loss in Wisconsin).

You really nailed this team with your comment the other day about finding a way to lose. Did it again yesterday...

Collinsworth can be extremely annoying even when he's making a good point. He's like a tall, thin, athletic Billy Packer with a full head of hair.

The level of anticipation for Manziel's first start on Sunday might be the biggest emotional thing I've seen in Cleveland before. You can even hear it in the tones of some of the local sports talk guys, particularly one annoying little cocksucker, in the sound of reverence when they say "Johnny". If he falls flat on his turd-cutter on Sunday it could lead to the biggest meltdown evarrrr. I'm kind of hoping it happens.

When you say biggest ever, do you mean of Biblical, Lebronian proportions?!? :( :o

Maybe not quite that large now that I think of it more. Granted I only know what I know through the blabbering on sports talk radio because this has overtaken any discussion of how good the Cavs are doing which is a much bigger story as far as potential payoff. But they can get away with spazzing out over this knowing they have the Cavs to fall back on if Manziel plays like poo.

I think at heart Cleveland cares more about football though.
