Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport

Had Seahawks been unable to trade Percy Harvin, they were prepared to cut him but didn't want to wait until Oct. 28 trade deadline.

another fascinating mini-twist is that the Jets cut his college teammate, David Nelson, to make room for him on the roster, even though it seems to me like there were some more obvious candidates for WRs to be dropped from the team.

Again I state there is no more overrated piece of ginger shit in the Goodell Football League than Andy Dalton.

the end of that Seahwaks game was crazy, the Rams faked a punt up 2 points inside their own 20 to not give the ball back and it worked!! then they needed one first down, they picked it up but the RB fumbled on the play and SEA almost recovered. big logjam at the top of the NFC...

Based on what I've seen so far this year, I agree. I'd even much rather have Orton. He can't move, but he has a gun.

Lions with the comeback of the season so far? Can't believe that happened.

Bivins comes over and we both win, that is all.

Two pretty fair QBs in this game.

Fitting that Peyton had a masterful performance in the game he broke the TD record. He was close to perfect last night. The highlight of the game was the Favre tying TD, a 39 yard TD to Wes Welker down the left sideline after a fake screen to Demaryius Thomas pulled two DB's in.

D Thomas had another great game. Peyton has an amazing receiver core, some of which is to his credit. Julius Thomas, once considering a pro basketball career (Europe), said that Peyton "trained" him.

Didn't see a single game yesterday (though I caught bits and pieces of Seattle/St. Lou), as I was inundated with yard work. Hell, I haven't even seen any final scores yet. Well, except for my fantasy teams.

I wish you had seen the Denver-SF game. Peyton had his best game of the season. It didn't hurt that Patrick Willis was out with an injury.

Manning is putting on a clinic tonight. As competitive as Rivers is he's just not in the top tier of enneffell QBs right now which is Rodgers, Manning and Luck imo.

Manning looks better than he has in previous years at Denver. he's always put up ridiculous numbers for them, but he seemed to always make weak-looking throws, but now he is zipping everything plus perfect long balls. also his play calling is impeccable, Denver certainly looking like the team to beat currently.

Agree with all that.

He's got great receivers who can run routes, hold onto the ball and keep their feet in bounds. The one dimension lacking, a burner, was solved when they got Emmanuel Sanders to replace Decker. The receiving core is so good that Welker is more of a garnish than a dish in the offense.

I never paid attention to #54, the linebacker Brandon Marshall until last night but what a game!

On defense, the Broncos can bring four on passing downs as long as two of the four are Ware and Miller.

In compiling all the reasons that these London games are an amazing clusterfuck for the GFL, does the early start create any fantasy problems getting the lineups set on time? I'm looking to Scottie and Professor Bivins for insight here.

How much of a fucking mutt would Matt Stafford be if he didn't have Megatron to throw to?

I suppose it could be problematic for those who wait to set their lineups right before the games start, but I pretty much set mine on Tuesday and check it once a day for news and status reports. So, the early start really doesn't effect me.

But hey, feel free to add it to the pile anyway. The regular season London games were a horrendous idea that just gets worse and worse.

Well it also points out the drone like behavior of kumishunurs who refuse to correct the fuckups of their predecessors. Why it's almost like the owners value such obvious brainlessness :o :o :o .

What will it cost, and what is the return?

The only questions you'd ever get from any of them. And as long as the amswer is, "not much, and lots", they couldn't give two shits whether there are functioning synapses, or integrity, or an ethical side...

If Walt Disney's frozen head could guarantee dump trucks full of money, it'd be voted in to commish 32-0.

BTW, I wonder how Green Bay votes? Their President, I guess?

well, selfishly I do like having four time slots for NFL on Sunday instead of 3, especially on a day like today when I have to go out to a concert around 6.

but the conditions seem awful, and I'm very curious to hear later why these guys are missing some passes so so badly, like I've never seen in the NFL.
