Firstly, if you have not heard Francisco Meirino before (or his old moniker Phroq) please take note. (and crawl out from under rock) He has been creating soundworks for more than a decade and this new FM LP is definitely some of his best work. This is a very nice edition that will not be around for long.
Second, I cant believe it, after well more than 5 years from the start of this project, Lasse Marhaug and Francisco Meirino deliver some conceptual masterwork headfuck in the form of a 7 inch. So insanely cut by Rashad Becker at D & M in Berlin. Yes, please listen to this at both 33 and 45 rpm. Quite possibly the longest playing 7 inch ever.

On "Recordings of voltage errors, magnetic fields, on-site testimonies & tape tension" Francisco Meirino continues to explore his curiosity of failed sounds and field recordings. Using computer, reel to reel tape machine, analog synth, field recorder, various home electronics, piezo transducers and electro-magnetic sensors, Francisco stitches together a brilliant mix of electronics and acoustic sounds. With this release he shows maturity and compositional craftsmanship that is clearly some of his best work to date.

Two tracks, each named after popular pharmaceuticals used to treat the symptoms contained within.
This medication can be taken at both 33 and 45 rpm. Mastered and Cut by Rashad Becker. Pressed in a limited edition of 500 on clear vinyl in prescription packaging.
