Screenshottery

Post by jbushnell »

I was wondering whether people would be open to the idea of a thread just devoted to screenshots, going a little beyond the fare that Google Image search usually turns up. I take a bunch as part of my viewing habits but don't want to dump too many in the "recently watched" thread because it makes the page taller (and slower to load) than many people typically like. Thoughts?

We used to have a guy "eraritjaritjaka" who was the king of screenshots. too bad he hasnt posted in a few months. He never posted reviews, but his carefully chosen screen shots were exquisite

If we're going to start talking about Achewood, we're going to need a whole different thread. Long time fan, here.

There was some discussion of Achewood over in the comics thread a while back. I always loved that motorcycle/Everest strip. Just genius.

I for one love admiring random screenshots from films, so post away.

Absolutely love that movie, esp the slow motion shots of Steiner. I love most of Herzog's docs, but that one is right near the top.

Cronenberg doesn't get enough credit for being a great filmer of architecture.
