thanks for the info, Barry. It does seem like there is an endless variety of sounds that one can coax out of an electric guitar, that's what keeps me coming back to it. Neil young used to say that there's a song in every guitar, I feel like there are sounds living in every guitar which I try to actualize...

Thought I'd post a pic of my guitar so everyone can have a laugh. This won't trigger any gear lust, that's for sure!

I cut off the top part of the body with a circular saw, disconnected the middle pickup, replaced the other two pickups, replaced the old strat-style switch with an LP-style 3-way switch, and rewired it for a master volume and tone. Also installed a kill switch.

That reminds me a little of Oren Ambarchi's guitar.

chopped the whole of one side off.

Any reason you did it? Just for looks or practicality?

The main reason is that I was bored and drank too much coffee that day. Kinda wish I hadn't but watcha gonna do. Keeps the upper horn from bumping into my chest at least. I did add the kill switch because of Ambarchi though, and I use it constantly.

Good call on the Oberon cap. I don't recall seeing any Bell's beer when I was recently in Florida. Maybe that Swamphead stuff had me too distracted...

Hi, Aaron! I'm so sorry I missed you (and Lucas and everyone).
Getting off-topic, but Swamphead's 10-10-10 Imperial IPA is the fucking shit.
