Maybe meadowphantasm is in reality Fred Goodwin.. that's the ex-chairman of RBS btw not the American poet I released an album with a year ago :)

When I came to know about the recording, it was already sold out. I emailed Alfredo directly and he sent me the CDR plus another one (at no extra charge) which I did not have.

I've got that xenakis and would be happy to trade it or sell it.

What I really need is the Schlippenback Quartett's "The HIdden Peak" on FMP. The unthinkable happened last time i listened to my cassette copy last week: it snapped. And the guy I got it from a dozen years ago I'm not in touch with anymore. I don't want to buy a copy - just need a CD-r or something. i have shitload of OOP improv records i can trade copies of in return.
should i start a new thread about trades?
ny name is andrew choate and used to post on this forum years ago as doodally but lost and forgot my old paswords so here i am now, trying to find the hidden peak

i used my people skills and got me a new copy of that hidden peak record, so dont worry bout it. the opening sound is so fucking great. could be kowald or parker or lovens, even schlippy on the inside of the piano, and you dont find out till a minute or so into it who it was as the other guys come in.
that's what euro free improv means to me

Looking for some OOP Eliane Radigue stuff.

If you have any of the following, PM me and let me know how much you are looking for:

Geelriandre - Arthesis
Σ = a = b = a + b
Adnos I-III
Biogenesis

Just looking for stuff that's at least in very good + condition.

Also, can anyone tell me if The Death Adder by Rod Poole is OOP? If not, where can I find it?

Chains and black exhaust, cdr is fine. I actually only need the iron knowledge ''showstopper'' track. Can pay $30.

I thought the only person who still has copies of this was Eliane herself - I got mine from her. Have never seen it anywhere else, but I don't go to places like eBay.

Curious as to why you'd need to transcode it. It's still just an MP3, but taking up more space.

so I can play it on my cd player, which doesn't play mp3. I burned the track to disc.

adjustment wrote:Some bad news They didn't have it. Plenty of other Lachenmann discs but not that one...
Yeah, I expected that. It seems this disc is only available via Modern Ensemble.
There is a bootleg version of Concertini (by Ensemble Modern) from a BBC Radio 3 broadcast circulating, which is truly awesome. But getting the disc from them to the US will come to $50(!)

I have a few Lachenmann discs which I love. This Concertini version is up there with Ausklang, maybe his best work along with the phenomenal Allegro Sostenuto recording on Col Legno.
I'll try to listen to the Kairos version which I can get much cheaper over here.
Thanks for looking.

A favorite of mine is his CPO disc 'Chamber Music.' It is really worth seeking out. Seems these CPO discs are starting to go out of print and getting pricey online. Just so hard to delve into Lachenmann as there is just so much. Him and Rihm are pretty prolific but I like the little what I heard from both.
