That looks pretty great Jacques. If you go let us know how it is, I've been curious for a while what the Merce Cunningham Company's recent work is like.

Yes, you're right. He posted quite a lot on Bag.

He is musician, turntable + electronics.
He has already performed several times with Otomo.

Anything of interest happening in NYC this week? I might have the chance to come down for a night.

I noticed these two at Listen Space (http://www.listenspacenyc.com):

March 21 2009, 8 pm (free)
3Days Festival (New York): Christopher Williams/ Jeph Jerman/ Billy Mintz

March 22 2009, 8 pm (free)
3Days Festival (New York): Christopher Williams/Tucker Dulin duo/ Jeph Jerman/Jay Sullivan duo/ Bryan Eubanks/Mattin duo

EDIT: Also, if there are any interesting art events, let me know (but perhaps you should PM me or post in another thread).

I'm aiming for the Karkowski and Daniell, and hoping the nudist won't be there.

This year's Radar Fest started last weekend in Mexico City. It's probably the biggest-funded experimental music festival in Mexico; over the years they've brought Otomo, Günter Müller, Norbert Möslang, Braxton, and plenty of interesting contemporary classical projects (they were even supposed to bring Kevin Drumm 5 or 6 years ago but unfortunately that didn't happen). They do make a few compromises every year (like bringing Mike Patton for the third time or something like that), but all in all it's a really worthwile event which always makes me wish I lived in Mexico City, at least during that part of the year. This year, besides Patton, they have Daniel Menche, Jazkamer and Oren Ambarchi, among other interesting things.
