I had this as a bootleg but this sounds much better...

It's on the 3rd CD that came with the outrageously over-priced box set. I DL it and I'm glad because it's the standout track on this...

It seems I'm a sucker for Gabriella Cilmi -- first there was 'Sweet about me' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElY5Gr845Fw) which, according to last.fm, I played 32 times in a row. Then I discovered 'Don't want to go to bed now" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOQ4ClSq ... re=channel) and I'm playing that continuously. Very addictive stuff.

I equalised the terribly sounding CD-edition of the Swans' Filth - I mean... they were famous for being terribly loud in concert; I suppose Gira, who made those remasters, just has completely ruined ears!
Anyway, it's not a track I played on that occasion as a loop in my compy, but the second half of one: Stay Here, starting when the ride cymbal sets in (and the track's latent triplet feeling disappears).

I currently think that's the most brilliant 2+half minutes of music I heard in recent months.

I surprise myself by listening at this very moment to a loop of Die Mannequin's "Saved by Strangers" - I just won't stop it, and it's a joy!
It's simple straight-ahead punk-metal, the front woman is a mix of a walking rock-chick clichee and a real bundle of aggressive energy, and that one song... I find it amazing!

Not that the tritone is particularly original to create harmonic tension, but I find the end of the chorus quite great - it has the perfectly applied tritone!

I recorded this one off their MySpace site.
