Me too. I remember seeing the album before I knew who has was and I thought it was the lamest cover ever. Then after I heard the album it made perfect sense.

The last time I've done this, maybe even in the past 10 years; is when I made a mix of everyone I could find doing "Change Is Gonna Come".

One of my favorite songs.

yeah exactly. I thought it was stupid before I heard anything from him then after I heard it I thought it was great.

two poppy pearls from the olden days
I once burned a CD with only those two songs on it - they are extremely singular phenomenons in my collection. But when I put that one into my player (circa once a year; and today), it usually gets played over and over again:

1. Elis Regina: Zazueira I tend to dislike latin, but this amazes me!
2. Jeanette: Porque te vas - YES!!!

... apart from the obvious (and very female) charme in there, the instrumental arrangement has some moments I love (last but not least the fade out!!)
