Tindersticks "s/t"
Nice pick. I could easily have chosen that one for my list. Great album; one of those great debuts..
I was a volunteer driver at a festival he played in Atlanta many years ago. After his set with Evan Parker and Paul Lytton (Paul Lovens had prior obligations,) I was to drive him to his hotel. As he was getting in the backseat of my car, I closed my own door, not realizing his hand was in the jam. He screamed bloody murder and the organizers whisked him off to the hospital for X-rays. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt. It scared the hell out of all of us, though, especially me.MRS wrote:elaborateMilam Minute wrote:You know I slammed Alexander von Schlippenbach's hand in my car door once? Fun times, fun times ...
And I noticed that my list looks a lot like several others on here. About a year ago I would have had Can at #1 just like fauxhemian's but with Neil Young at #2. I've also been getting into the first two Big Star albums way more lately.polyphonic wrote: 16 art ensemble of chicago, les stances a sophie
