After beating (ranked) Texas pretty easily, NU loses another buzzer-beater game--this time to Notre Dame. McIntosh is again the goat, missing on his last drive and going 3-18 from the floor. He was very good against the Longhorns, though.

amazing game, Kentucky/North Carolina. UK is up pretty much all game behind an insane shooting display by Malik Monk but UNC never stopped scoring and went up 100-98 late. Monk hit yet another 3 to put UK up for good, capping a 47 point game, most any player has scored this year and a UK freshman scoring record (and that is saying something with the one and done studs who have come through there recently).

abbey I was shocked that the Wildcats didn't hit 110 because they didn't ease off. Incredible displays of offense and (brace yourself) well officiated. And for once Roy saving all his timeouts almost worked

I watched the second half of that game. Doesn't seem like anybody has graduated from the Badgers. They should be really dangerous again.

Bilas used the word "verve." I have the sense he wears "I dream of Jeannie" pants when he's home.

I think Baylor learned something every other team may catch on to: you do not want to play West Virginia. Anal surgery is a more pleasant option.
