Tricky's post reminded me--has there ever been a bigger team than the the Celtics will be this year (after Perkins comes back)? Both O'Neals, Perkins, Garnett, Semih Erden (from Turkey), and Scalabrine. That's six guys that are at or near 7 feet tall. And they also have Big Baby.

Shit, forget about the height angle; this team has some immense dudes on it. All they need to do now is to sign Robert Tractor Traylor away from his Puerto Rican team and just run the flying wedge all season.

Why on earth would they fire him now? Might go down as one of the worst coaches of all time per opportunity. He's like a poker player who continually loses money over a 25 year career but it too bull headed to think he's playing bad. He's had the whole organization handed to him numerous times, and has absolutely nothing to show for it except for 1 upset over the Mavs (who were overrated anyway)

They should let him coach until he passes away. that's the only thing that makes sense.

From this morning's Globe:
Did West have an intimate relationship with Gloria James, the mother of two-time Most Valuable Player and former teammate LeBron James?

Before a frantic team official could intervene, undoubtedly fearing West might react with four-letter words, or perhaps clam up altogether, as he did last season, West took a deep breath, stared the reporter in the eye, and addressed whether the rumors were true.

“Not at all,’’ he said. “I come from an era where you don’t say nothing bad about someone’s parent, so not at all.’’
Nice to have someone from the era where it is only allowed to fuck teammates moms and whack them by telling the media you won't say anything bad about them. That's a quaint, decent era from which Delonte hails.

If it was in retaliation for Lebron fucking Delonte's wife, then right on! I think bo posted something that claimed just that.

That's the rumor that has gone around. Who knows at this point. I wouldn't be surprised at anything. Clearly Lebron has shown himself to be narcissitic and classless, so I wouldn't put anything past him.

It's crazy how much press the Heat is getting. I'm hoping for multiple ACL and knee cap fusions.

This is why ESPN is such a garbage news source: In their chart illustrating that for all the games Nelson has won he hasn't won any championships, they don't make the equally or more damning point that his teams have never even been to a championship final (I don't think that's mentioned in the verbiage but maybe it is; there's only so much of their insipid blah-blah I can handle). He didn't at Milwaukee (despite having a very talented team) or Dallas (where, hilariously, Avery took them to the Finals the year after Nellie left and should've been the champions because of factors that I've previously driven completely into the ground) and it's because his teams play no fucking defense. In that regard they're fun to watch but frustrating to cheer for.

It's kind of surprising the Warriors are still a franchise; other than the season that they beat the Mavs in the first round they're looking up at the Clips when it comes to stature. Although they have at least one *extremely* devoted fan.

Jim Rome had yahoo's basketball writer on and he was pretty good in showing how Carmella, his whore wife who gets her thong twisted about not being on the east coast and the SHF are on their way to giving Denver a high colonic that will make LeBron's douche play look like a kindergarten class. It's pretty fucking obvious that Mella isn't gonna stick in Denver after this season even though per stupid fucking Stern he's stating otherwise (the owners really need to band together and force that senile cocksucker out before he zeroes out their investments). He will pull a LeBron at the end of the season, the difference being that he'll disappear in clutch playoff games much more than LeBron would (game 5 of the Celtics notwithstanding).

Also the guy said that LeBron will fit in well with DWade because he has no problem facilitating the play of others in the clutch, which I think is a valid point; but he might not get along in Miami off the court so well since he's already increased the already huge band of hangers on and toadies.

Well, I guess it's safer than trying to punch LB in the nose.

Today Lebron mentioned race being a factor in the outcry against him lately.

Yeah, he's been pretty piss poor in getting to the bottom of the Lebron story. He was abnormally quiet after the Boston series and did very little to call Lebron out when the whole city was in an uproar. Now I know why. He's in bed with Lebron.

Just another disappointment. I don't blame him though. The opportunity to cover Lebron for his whole career is a good one. This story isn't over and frankly it's just getting good. He'll probably win championships, fuck up some more, more ups and downs are imminent.

Windhorst from a radio show tonight:

"I was very disappointed in LeBron. He went out with a whimper. He let them (the team) down."

"I got 1 sitdown interview with LeBron in 7 years. LeBron's people don't want me in Miami. They know they can't control me."

"I can't say things unless I have ironclad proof. Maybe some things the fans want to know will come out in the next year."

"I've been cursed by LeBron's publicist to my face and behind my back for things I've reported."

Do you believe him, Bo or based on that stuff do you still think he's in bed with LeBron?
