I think firing Shanahan was asinine, and trading Cutler was worse. This McDaniels character alienated their 2 best players before coaching a down; well done.
I will thoroughly enjoy how bad that team should be.

I'll refer any further questions, as should be the case with everyone here, to Bob and Tom the football experts. Hell, the experts on everything, really.
This is one of the reasons why I've been honestly trying to cut back my online time.
Tom, please delete my posts from this thread. Thanks.
Piece out, batches.

WTF
Re: NFL 2009
Drama kings
Anyway, my sole "football" contribution to this thread is that I think Washington will be better than people imagine this year. This is the year Campbell proves the doubters wrong and steps up for a full 16 games. Whether it will be enough to get to the playoffs in this division, that I don't know. But they will be a good football team.

I'm definitely going to need explanation on this one. Are you Mike Shanahan, and therefore offended? Am I not allowed to talk to Hate? WTF?Mo Noyz wrote:I'll refer any further questions, as should be the case with everyone here, to Bob and Tom the football experts. Hell, the experts on everything, really.

Re: NFL 2009
I'm done having these angry, pointless conversations about something I otherwise enjoy. No more football talk from this boy.

I'm done with this shit as well. This will hopefully be my last post on any of these sites, but since you feel the need to delete all your posts...
Brotherman and I can throwdown with the best of them. It's nothing personal, and I take no offense.
Besides, it's just getting good!
Post-season form in the pre-season. Does it get any better than that?!
Then the only thing I said![]()

Did I mention "hitting you where it hurts"?!!
Man, we should get together for Thanksgiving one of these days.
I can guarantee me and Brotherman would have jon running and screaming in no time...

Re: NFL 2009
As I said, the long-winded arguments to nowhere are tiring and waste too much time that we could both be spending more productively. And I'm not going to go into the football season hoping for this or that to happen because of these pointless conversations.
OK, so the Bob and Tom thing was a cheap shot. But, you and jon ARE self-styled experts on everything. And to be perfectly honest, it does get tiring sometimes.

I didn't understand the Bob and Tom comment, and I'm done deleting back posts on this thread, you can sit with them a la Warburton.
and I'd say Borat does know at least as much about football as you, but you'll see who's right on this one in a few months. I didn't chime in, because contrary to your evident belief, I'm not under the impression I know much about the NFL.

Yeah, but that's what you don't understand.
I don't care who's right or wrong. I was just stating my opinion as I see it right now. That could change by week 2.

It was fun to watch, from a distance.

I understand that fine, Scott. I don't think anyone's going to come to your house and cut off your little finger if SD goes 16-0.Mo Noyz wrote:Yeah, but that's what you don't understand.

Re: NFL 2009
I have no idea what that means.
Re: NFL 2009
It means Borat has paid me $1,000 up front, and $1,000 when I deliver the finger to him.
Re: NFL 2009
Somehow I dont think Scott is going to find that funny.
Re: NFL 2009
Borat: Every minute you don't tell us that the Chargers will win the AFC West, I cut off a finger.

it means just what you mean, we're just talking about sports here, there aren't any ramifications if you're wrong except being wrong. and if you don't care about that, as you said, then I don't see the problem.Mo Noyz wrote:I have no idea what that means.

Football is probably the only subject I like sharing opinions and ideas on without it devolving into a zero-sum deathmatch like it did last night. I simply do not have the desire to get into those types of conversations anymore.
I should have been strong enough to get out before things got nasty, but I wasn't and share half the blame.
