Was it worse than SMU? So many turnovers and bad decisions by SMU. I thought the goaltending call was correct fwiw.

Baylor got outscored 13-0 in the last 3 minutes, three turnovers, four missed shots, a missed FT, an attempted (missed shot) with the shot clock off, 25 seconds left and them still up by 3...

Heh, jeez wow. Teams from Texas are 0-3. Is Rick Barnes the worst coach in all of sports? Its astonishing to me that he still has a job anywhere, let alone at Texas, but I think he will be fired soon.

To be fair, texas did start getting jobbed by the refs once they'd come back. The worst was probably sending Durham(?) to the line for three shots when he went way out of his way to kick a guy running by almost in the head. Texas never recovered from that but there were two other almost equally absurd calls when they tried.

But yeah, Barnes is a very lucky man and has been for years.

Wow. VCU came unglued there in OT. Nice job, Bucks.

OSU being a 10 seed was just stupid imo.

It was just a few years ago that Barnes was talked about as a hot coach waiting to happen. That obviously didn't work out so well.

Had Baylor taking down Kentucky in both my brackets. Thank you. Big XII looking good.

I may have an all-time stinker bracket. Oddly freeing. Enjoying the drama.

I blame watching a LOT more NBA this season

Even with Maryland's return to relevance my interest has been almost nil compared to the NBA. Most games are poorly played like the Cincy/Purdue trashketball last night.

My only interest in Purdue Cincy was that if Purdue won, they would have bloodied Kentucky up a bit. That's the only game they have. They punch better than they shoot.

Re Baylor, I saw them twice this year and they looked like an incredibly stupid team both times. I've noted above my season-long question about which (talented) team is stupider, Baylor or Providence. (I have Providence lose their first game, so watch them get to the Final Four now.) Iowa State, like NC State, is a Jekyll/Hyde team, as I've noted a bunch of times, so while I had/have both of them winning several games, nothing they'd do would surprise me too much. But now, if Harvard had beaten UNC or Northeastern beaten ND, I would have really been blown away, and obv, both of those games came down to final possessions.

Anyhow, I think it's been a really fun tournament so far. I understand yesterday had the most one-point games ever. Today's been calmer.....so far.

yeah, tons of close games yesterday but also a ton of just awful basketball. that Georgetown game at the end was all turnovers by Georgetown and missed 3s by the other time, it was endless and painful.

Indiana playing Wichita St. tough early.

Bryce Drew is severely retarded.

I really hope we get to see the Wisconsin offense against the Kentucky defense (would be a national semi), just from a basketball perspective. Wisconsin runs as crisp and effective a college offense as I can remember, but Kentucky is so huge and athletic and deep.

I believe every higher seed has won so far today...

I think six or seven of the eight #1 and #2 seeds will make the Elite Eight, it seems like there's a pretty big dropoff with very few exceptions after that.

Gonzaga was certainly lucky that Iowa State lost. Much easier road for them now.

Thanks, but I just haven't had my complete fall-apart day yet. It'll come: it always does.

Ditto! Go Wolfpack!

BTW, I'm kind of impressed with Utah. They look really well-coached. Larry K. has done a nice job with his team.
