NFL 2016

Um, no. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not a dipshit. His accuracy was WAY off most of the day, but that doesn't mean he was making bad decisions.
He finished 15th in total yds last year, and 10th in passing TDs.
Yeah, he had a bad game yesterday. But that doesn't change the fact that whenever he's actually had talent around him he's at least been a average NFL QB.

Bad day, hahaha.

Anyhow, I like your KC QB, Scott.

Re: NFL 2016
Marshall and Decker kind of carried him last year. he's not terrible (although he was yesterday and in the crucial season closer last year against Buffalo), but I would have gone a different direction this year if I were the Jets. oh, and good job by the Jets taking a project in Hackenberg when guys taken after him like Prescott and Brissett are already contributing (to be fair, any of us could play QB for NE and they'd still probably win, those fuckers).
Re: NFL 2016
Well, whether he's the 15th best QB in the NFL or a dipshit, if I were a Jets fan, I think I might have to kill myself.

Re: NFL 2016
This has turned into an outrageously stupid conversation, the likes of which I certainly wouldn't have expected here.
Re: NFL 2016
you are at your worst when you are condescending like that. if you think we're wrong or talking out of our asses, explain why without being a dick. that's what most people here try to do on most threads. I am not a Fitzpatrick fan and never have been. he is a mediocre placeholder.
Re: NFL 2016
I'm referring more to walto's stupid comments. But jump in however you fucking like.
Re: NFL 2016
again, not helpful. if someone is being an idiot, as we all are at one time or another, explain why. we should all have enough respect for each other after this many years together that we can educate each other when appropriate.
or don't, not sure who that helps.
or don't, not sure who that helps.
Re: NFL 2016
I did explain why. 15th in yds, 10th in TDs just last year.
Yes, he's mediocre, but he's not only the best option the Jets have, he's still better than a lot of other QBs.
Raving on about him being a dipshit because of Sunday's game is rather idiotic. His arm was scattershot all day and wildly overrated DBs like Marcus Peters will make you pay in those cases. His decisions weren't bad, his accuracy was.
It happens.

Re: NFL 2016
Hunh. I don't remember raving. Calling 6 interceptions in a day a "bad game" is funny, so I laughed.
I feel sorry for Jets fans. Scott doesn't, because of the 15th in total yards last year stat. Fine, we differ--I can live with that. It drives him nuts when people disagree with him though, and he responds by calling people names. But I'm used to it; I can live with that too.

BTW, I see that Carol's year books from Little Rock High are chock full of Walt Coleman pics, both in and out of uniform. (He was a defensive back.) If there's any desire to see, e.g., his senior photo here, let me know. (He was def more handsome than I was, but, of course, that's not saying much.)

Hahaha...
You started this out with calling Fitz a dipshit (twice!), but let's make sure the name calling tag is placed squarely on me.
And just for clarity, I called your comments stupid. Not you.
With that, I'm done with this silly bullshit.

Yes, Scott, we know you hate the idea of calling pro athletes names and would never do that yourself. We should let Cap Hate know you are sensitive about name-calling and that he should stop too!
Poor poor 'Fitz'.

Greg Hardy arrested yet again.

Re: NFL 2016
There was also the play at the end of the Colts Bolts game where the punting team can't down the ball to end a game that struck me as dumb. The competition committee must sit around watching porn instead of cleaning up that joke of a rule book. Well run league imo.

Re: NFL 2016
You know, the officiating has been bad for years now, we all know this. But, it seems to be getting worse and worse by the week this season.
Hell, in the Broncos/Bengals game there was one drive in the first quarter where the refs missed a blatant, and highly visible, chop block on Denver. Then followed it up with two horrendous penalties against the Bengals D.
I know Cappz and I agree (and I'm assuming everyone else here does as well) that the refs are trying to hold water in their hands enforcing this bloated and ridiculous rule book, but good god...
Did anyone else see the "fumble" by Pacman on the punt return where the ball popped out as BOTH of his knees were on the ground?! Even Fouts said, "I have no idea what they're looking at there". And the "inconclusive" excuse has been beaten to death already this season.
No, dude. Who fucking CARES what was called on the field!
Officiating has gone from bad to downright embarrassing. I swear Wynton shakes his head as much as I do while we're watching the games these days...

Re: NFL 2016
Unless I'm forgetting something, in Sunday's Dolphins/Browns game, I don't remember the zebras screwing up a play challenge. Most of the time I'm as puzzled as Fouts.
