2. Robert Griffin III - Ravens #2 QB, currently injured. Sad career after great rookie season.
8. Ryan Tannehill- Texans #2 QB. Started his first five seasons with Miami then tore his ACL in 2017. Did not have a good season last year.
22. Brandon Weeden- 29 year old rookie, threw for 31 TD's and had 30 Int's in his six win career. One of the all-time stupidest first round picks.

The booing was objectionable to me, too but I don't think Charlie Pierce has it right. Marion County (Indianapolis is part of it) voters gave 62% of the two party vote to Clinton despite having their state's governor on the ballot.

This 538 article says Colts fans have a 4.8% Democratic lean, which is slightly less than the national average.

I'm pretty sure every other fan base is glad they weren't on display like the Colts were. The booing was bad, obviously, but if they cheered does that mean they're glad he's gone?

I think Weeden was the choice of fat fuck Holmgren during his mailing it in time as the Browns GM. Probably the stinkiest turd associated with the post Modell franchise (Holmgren; Weeden might barely crack the top 10).

I feel better about the Giants after reading that they currently project to have 8-9 draft picks next year in what is supposed to be a good draft, Daniel Jones looked very good in preseason, albeit in only 35 pass attempts and their rebuilt OL played well in the preseason. They can stink this year, have another top 10 pick and start Jones in 2021. At least they aren't rudderless Houston, which just made some ridiculous transactions by their GM by committee.

Just read the Giants only have six players left from the Jerry Reese regime (ended after the 2017 season). Zak DeOssie, Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram, Paul Perkins, Wayne Gallman, and Dalvin Tomlinson

Boy, the Titan's OL should be really embarrassed after Mariota was sacked 9 times yesterday. I think the NFL team record is 12. I mean Mariota did hold the ball too long numerous times, but giving up nine sacks is pathetic anyhow.

Which reminds me that it was also hard seeing Siemian get repeatedly crushed the way he did the other day. The official news is that he's "out for the season" but I doubt we'll ever see him in an NFL game again after that.

Those are fun stats but the following is worth a wow!

Giants Daniel Jones was under pressure on 47% of his dropbacks (3rd highest of Week 3).
He competed 80% of pressured attempts for 233 yards, 2 TDs, and a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

PFF has kept track of pressured QB stats since 2007 and Jones is the first (with at least 12 attempts) to record a perfect passer rating.

Niners are 3-0 for the first time in 21 years, the least impressive 3-0 team I've ever seen, won yesterday despite FIVE turnovers. But the game was fun to watch (our daughter and her husband have season tix, were there), the defense looks legitimately good, and they're just missing on some big plays which may yet come together. And they have their Keystone Kops moments -- one of their turnovers was a running back colliding with a hiked ball. Still, I've probably already watched more football this season than the previous two combined.
