I am not working these Olympics for NBC, unless they offer me lots of money at the last minute again (highly unlikely).

also, I need to keep my record intact, of winning an Emmy for every two weeks I've worked in TV:

£19 billion worth of taxpayer funded advertising for some of the worst companies in the world.

There are a number of reasons to be ashamed to be British this year. This might be the the biggest of them.

I notice they don't have "TV time-outs" anymore. They're "technical time-outs."

I'm also enjoying the swimming commentators consistent talk about the wrong guys (people who don't medal) through entire races.
