Szabados interview

[potatocircle]

perhaps you folks would be interested in a short interview I did with pianist Gyorgy Szabados, published here:
http://facsimilemagazine.com/2011/02/index.html

the incredible plethora of his music really should be savored more than it is outside eastern europe

I guess I should mention that there are also some really nice audio samples and video footage included to make the introduction complete. for prepared / percussive piano lovers, his solo album "A szent főnixmadár dürrögései" (the ruttings of the sacred phoenix bird) is a real treat

[laszlo juhasz]

i guess that was one of his last interviews.
very sad news: györgy szabados died last night.
he was a very-very important musician, his death is great loss for hungarian improvised music.
