it's been over six months between Erstwhile releases, but very happy to announce that there are three new ones at the plant now, including this. aiming for physical release around February 10 and now accepting preorders with accompanying immediate lossless DL link.

"Very excited about this one! "Schwarze Riesenfalter" - a project Graham Lambkin and I worked on throughout the last year is now available on erstwhile records for preorder (see comments for how to do that). One of the darkest, funniest, strangest projects in which I've ever had a part. Black butterflies, fragmented mouths, dead kings: you get the idea. Fantastic cover art by Graham as well."-Michael Pisaro

5 tracks, 49 minutes, mastered by Jason Lescalleet.

e-mail erstrecs@aol.com with your full order for a price w/shipping, international orders are especially encouraged to order multiple titles at once (because most of the shipping charge is for the first item).

Schwarze Riesenfalter

Black butterflies crowd the midnight sky.
A beacon pierces the offshore mist with firelight.
We awaken to the flutter of bats, a passage of hawks.
An icy wind of bleached birches and synthesized snow.
Rude chorus of fragmented mouths submerged in rumor.
The king lies deposed, un-dead.
