Epistrophy Arts presents the return Free Jazz supergroup after 11 years.
Founded in 1993, The Brotzmann, Drake Parker Trio is widely regarded as "one of the leading ventures in the history of avant-garde jazz" (all music guide). featuring hamid drake (drums) & william parker (bass), the group combines brötzmann's explosive "kaput music" with a spectacularly flexible rhythm section that suggests congruencies with dozens of world music traditions.
