Weighter Recordings: Hennies - Duets for Solo Snare Drum

Hi all,

Today I am officially announcing the founding of a new label, Weighter Recordings and the inaugural release which will be available on September 1st.

"Duets for Solo Snare Drum" features three works for snare drum by John Cage, Peter Ablinger and myself and each piece is a "duet" with a different non-perfomative element:

Cage - silence
Ablinger - noise
Hennies - tones

All releases are professionally duplicated CDs in austere letterpressed packages by Middle Press/Ben Owen. Available on CD for $12 (ppd in North America) or as a digital download (mp3 of FLAC) for $7.

Coming later this year is a new solo percussion work by Tim Feeney called "Caroline" - details forthcoming.
