German techno trio Brandt Brauer Frick have been taking on the notion of what "techno" music means utilizing prepared piano, vibraphone, drums, percussion, brass and strings, Rhodes, bass guitar and analogue synthesizers creating an acoustic sound that is wholly their own. Called both progressive classical and progressive electronica, the ensemble's music takes on new dimensions live. They have performed all over the world and have been party of many major festival including MUTEK, Moog Fest, Transart, Ekko, Worldwide Festival, NuMusic, and many more.
